Hi! I'm Nika (knee-kah).

I am a developer, designer, and student. I am currently in my final year @ The University of Toronto, where I am studying Computer Science, Math, and GIS. I am passionate about the wellness industry, in particular mental health and self-improvement.

I enjoy being active and participating in my community. Throughout my time at UofT, I have worked at Women in Science and Computing, an on-school organization focused on making spaces for female-identifying students and minorities in STEM. Additionally, I represented the school as an Esri Student Associate, writing blogs about emerging GIS technologies and participating in the Esri App Challenge.

Outside of school, I enjoy engaging in self-study. During the last two years, I have taken online courses in topics ranging from vector illustration to building with React.js. These skills developed outside of class have allowed me to intern as a UI/UX Designer and Product Designer.
